With an individual specialized lighting technique, Rembrandt’s Studio has gained a reputation for producing the highest quality portraiture.
Using the same principal techniques as the famous Master Painter “Rembrandt” we have developed our own unique photography style. By simulating his use of dramatic side lighting techniques, we are able to create light and shadow with a degree of softness for each portrait.
With our specialised soft-box lighting, combination of lenses and filters we can create this special effect for your portraiture. Our unique backgrounds have been custom designed and painted personally by the renowned artist & background designer - Archie Cowan..
In 1998, the team at Rembrandt’s Studio was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s award for exceptional performance from Monash University.
This was in recognition for the outstanding contribution of photography it has provided to the university for student graduation photography since 1994.
